Hello All -

 

I'm going way off subject with this post. My publishers' advertising advisers had me set up these posts to interest people in reading my FBI Special Agent Hartman Series novels. But, sometimes I get something in my head and want to express an opinion about it. This is one of those times.

 

Like many of you (apparently 17.1 million), I watched the Megan and Harry interview by Oprah. I was not surprised by their comments. To me, they appeared to answer the question honestly. It will be interesting to see if the "INSTITUTION" will respond, and if they do respond, what they will say. In past posts and in my upcoming novel SKYWARD, I comment about how tribalism impacts society and the world. The interview suggests tribalism or discrimination by the INSTITUTION. My gut feeling is that the interview will have a significant impact on the Monarchy and its continuation. It will be interesting as we wait and see what happens.

 

I post Rupp's Notes/FBI Special Agent Hartman Series newsletters three times a week on my website, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The site that continually surprises me with weird comments about what I post is Facebook. Often the comments have absolutely nothing to do with what I have posted. They are just "rants" by people who have something on their minds or subscribed to some weird idea. At least, I think they are bizarre ideas. 

 

In my March 3rd Post, titled IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION, I mentioned that I had just received my first Maderna Covid-19 vaccine shot. One of the FB responses was, "It's truly sad' that you took that shot!! You will have years of health problems coming your way!! That's if it doesn't kill you' hours or even days later!!!"

 

I made a mistake by responding, "I'm feeling great, and only time will tell." That resulted in a response from the lady that she is supported by "1,000 doctors." And, on and on.

 

Those of you that follow my posts know that I follow "the science." That's how my Bowman Twins, in my upcoming novel SKYWARD, can establish a colony on the Moon. My plot is fictional, but it is based on science. Education and science are critical to our expanding society and its survival. At least that's what I believe. And to a degree, that's what SKYWARD is about.

 

The good news about the Covid-19 virus is that the CDC has posted new guidelines that indicate the shots are working. The CDC suggests it is now safe for fully vaccinated people to gather indoors with each other without masks. It is safe for you and a friend, or you and a family member who are both vaccinated, to have dinner together without wearing masks and without distancing. Vaccinated people can visit with someone in a single household who is unvaccinated, without protections. And vaccinated individuals do not need to quarantine or get tested if they come into contact with someone with COVID-19 and do not develop symptoms. The CDC said Americans are "fully vaccinated" once two weeks have passed since they received their vaccine regimen's final dose.

 

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported a single-day record 2.9 million vaccine doses were administered on Saturday and another 2.4 million on Sunday. The U.S. is now averaging more than 2 million vaccine shots per day. More than 1 adult in 5 in the U.S. has received at least one dose of a vaccine, and 1 in 10 have received two doses. 

 

I suspect my readers will be around longer than some of the FB non-science ranters unless they decide to get the vaccine shot.
